The Best Way to Attract Qualified Leads

The question every auto dealership owner asks is "how can I get more qualified leads to my dealership?" In this short blog we are going to share our strategies on how we do just that.
Identify Your Ideal Customer
The most important thing for you to do is figure out exactly who you are talking to. There is a famous marketing saying that says;

"if you try to talk to everyone, you end up talking to no one." 

We find that dealerships try to talk to everyone and don't pin point who their ideal customers are. Think of it like you're talking chines to an english person. You are not talking the same language as they speak. So how do you expect to attract someone that doesn't understand you.

We have provided a short step-by-step process that we use to figure out who we are targeting and what language we have to talk to attract them.

1. Male or Female? Figuring out if you want to target males or females with a specific campaign is very important. Males and females are interested in different thing so it's important to talk the them in different ways and create unique offers for each person.

2. Age Range? Understanding what age your ideal customers are is extremely important (everything on the blog is important lol). When crafting a unique offer for this person age matters. People that are different ages are interested in different things and have different needs and wants.

3. Interests? What is your ideal customer actually interested in. You can figure this out through market research and other tools like Facebook, instagram or google...etc. This is important because once you know what they are interested in you can create an offer to relate to the things they already like.

4. Pains? If you were to talk to the person that you want to attract what pains are they facing in their life right now? What problems would they like to solve? This is important to understand about your ideal customers also so when you are dealing with them you can serve them great!

5. Pleasures? What do these people absolutely love? What is something they would die for?

6. Attention? This is one of the last steps in the process but it's very important to figure out where their attention is and where they hangout or spend most of their time.

7. Value? What do they value and how can you bring that value to them through what you offer?

We could continue to go deeper into the ideal customer for your dealership but this is the best way to attract qualified leads. Understand who you are talking to and who you want to focus on.

For example we targeted students for one of our clients and went through this process of figuring out how to talk to their ideal customer. Once we figured out how to talk to them we created and offer to relate to that person and we got amazing results because we were very focused and understood who we where talking to.

This step-by-step process is very important and should be done before any advertising dollars are ever spent on anything. Otherwise you are hoping that your advertising campaigns work and hope marketing is possible the worst strategy ever. However, hope marketing is still better than not marketing at all.
