How to Get Results Fast and Consistently

Everyone wants things fast and consistent when it comes to results from advertising. This blog is going to break down how you can create fast and consistent results for your dealership.
Develop A Detailed Campaign Plan
I am sure you have heard the saying "if you fail to plan you plan to fail." This is so true when it comes to marketing campaigns. Don't just start advertising for no reason. Every dollar that you are spending you should be tracking and there should be a purpose behind everything. 

The purpose can't only be to get leads. It can be much greater than just leads. It can be a campaign to create momentum for the next campaigns you will be running. The most effective types of campaigns are educational first, Consistency second and offer third. The formula looks something like this;

Education + Consistency + Offer = New Customer 

When you use this formula you will get results fast. But you will not get results consistently unless you stay consistent with it. So the next question would be how often should you run this cycle through? How much money should you put into it? How do I know it's going to work?

Most of the time when we run campaigns like this these are the questions we get. Let me explain each question you have.
How Often Should You Run This System
It all depends on your company and the campaign you are running and the people you are targeting. However, for example lets say you are targeting students (for our blog on targeting click here). You are going to have a video that is 1 minute long that is education students on owning a car vs leasing a car (something interesting to them). This would be your education. Anyone that views more than 25% of that video we will retarget them with another Educational video this time with a call to action (CTA). This is your consistency (it's also very important to flip your advertisements). After people watch 50% or more of the next video you will retarget them with a special offer. Then keep retargeting them until they buy (the average person must see something 6 - 12 times before they buy). 

You should run this campaign for at least 2 weeks because this is how long it takes for facebook to optimize it and get you the results you are looking for. After 2 weeks if its not getting you the results you want then you will have to adjust and try again. This time it will be better because if you were smart you would have been building an audience to retarget and have a better conversion rate because that are worm now.
How Much Money Should You Spend
How much should you be spending on a campaign like this... good questions. The answer is honestly if your budget is lets say $10,000 / month you wouldn't dump all $10,000 into something you're not sure if its working or not right? I hope you said yes lol. What you do is take a small amount lets say $200 - $500 and use that for testing purposes to make sure you have a campaign that is working. Once you find out that its working and bringing you a nice return than you can dump your full advertising budget into it. If you see that it didn't work you didn't lose lots of money and still have money to test another campaign.

Your goal should be to spend as little money as possible when testing until you find something that works and once you find something that works and brings you a 5/1 ROI minimum then put as much money into that as you can handle.
How Do You Know It Will Work
The simple answer to this question is well.. you don't. That's why you test it and keep testing until you find something that really truly works for your dealership. Once you find something that is working you can then dump money into it. If you are really worried about if it will work you can do market research on competitors or things that have worked for others. 

This is something we do typically when we are breaking into a new market and wanna work off of something that has already worked. It's ok to build off of someone else's testing and money but you still will never know for sure 100%. If anyone tells you that they can tell you 100% that it will work kick them out of the room because they are lying straight to your face.
